The Yokogawa VF701 is a discontinued Vnet/IP interface card that was used in Yokogawa’s DCS (distributed control system) and process analyzers. It was replaced by the VF702 in 2008.
The VF701 provided an interface between Yokogawa’s Vnet/IP network and a variety of field devices, such as Rosemount temperature sensors and Druck pressure sensors. It supported a variety of communication protocols, including FOUNDATION Fieldbus, HART, and PROFIBUS.
The VF701 was a small, lightweight card that measured approximately 2.2 cm x 12.4 cm x 12.6 cm and weighed approximately 0.1 kg. It was powered by a 24VDC power supply.
