The TRICONEX 4329 NCM, also known as the Network Communication Module, is a device that allows a Triconex safety instrumented system (SIS) to communicate with other Triconex systems and external devices over an Ethernet network.
- Communication Protocol: Ethernet (802.3)
- Data Exchange: Enables data exchange between Triconex systems and external hosts like computers.
- External Host Connection: Connects to external hosts using coaxial cable (RG-58) for distances up to 607 feet (185 meters). Longer distances are achievable with repeaters and standard cabling.
- Data Refresh Rate: Main processors typically refresh data on the NCM once per scan.
