GE IS215VCMIH2CA is a rugged, extended temperature range (ETR), extended temperature / high vibration (ETTH/HV) Mark VI VME communications board that provides serial communications between the control and interface module (CIM) and the Mark VI control system’s rack-mounted I/O boards. It also supports the IONet protocol, which is a high-speed, high-reliability network used to interconnect multiple Mark VI CIMs.
The IS215VCMIH2CA has three serial ports:
- Port 0: Supports RS-232, RS-485, and 422 protocols
- Port 1: Supports RS-485 and 422 protocols
- Port 2: Supports RS-232 and 485 protocols
