GE DS3800NGDC Ground Detector Oscillator (GDO) board
The GE DS3800NGDC is a Ground Detector Oscillator (GDO) board that is used in General Electric Mark IV gas turbine control systems. It is responsible for detecting ground faults in the generator and its associated circuits. The GDO board does this by monitoring the voltage difference between the generator frame and a reference ground. If the voltage difference exceeds a certain threshold, the GDO board will trip the generator breaker, preventing damage to the generator and other equipment.
