The GE DS200LDCCH1AGA LAN Communications Board is a high-performance, versatile board that provides a wide range of features for industrial applications. It is designed to be used in conjunction with GE’s Mark V series of replacement drive boards, compatible with GE brand DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 drives and exciters.
When installed in a drive, the DS200LDCCH1AGA provides an array of drive and I/O control functions for the drive. The board houses four microprocessors onboard:
- A LAN control processor (LCP) that is available to accept five different bus types fed to the drive.
- A drive control processor (DCP) that is also available to process analog and digital I/O conversions. The DCP is also capable of controlling and converting peripheral I/O devices such as encoders and timers.
- A motor control processor (MCP) that is provided to process digital I/O sent to the drive.
- A co-motor processor (CMP) that will provide additional processing power needed to complete functions should calculations require more than the DCP can provide.
