The GE Drive Control/LAN Communications Board DS200LDCCH1ANA is a 7-layer circuit board that is used in GE EX2000 Excitation and DC2000 systems. It is responsible for drive and motor control, LAN communications, and drive resets. The board features multiple microprocessors that are assigned different tasks. One microprocessor provides drive control processing, another provides motor control processing, a third provides co-motor processing, and the fourth provides LAN control processing.
If the board is not functioning properly, you can perform a soft reset by pressing the Reset button for about 5 seconds. A hard reset should only be performed if the drive malfunctions or a trip condition occurs. In this case, power is interrupted to the board and it must restart.
