The Bently Nevada 3500/92-02-01-01 is a communication gateway module that provides extensive communication capabilities of all rack monitored values and statuses for integration with process control and other automation systems. It uses both Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) communications capabilities.
The 3500/92 Communication Gateway module supports the communication interfaces, communication protocols, and other features from the original 3500/90 with the exception of the primary value Modbus registers. It also supports the following additional features:
- Modbus/TCP: This protocol allows the 3500/92 to communicate with other Modbus devices over an Ethernet network.
- EtherNet/IP: This protocol allows the 3500/92 to communicate with other EtherNet/IP devices over an Ethernet network.
- DeviceNet: This protocol allows the 3500/92 to communicate with other DeviceNet devices over a DeviceNet network.
- PROFIBUS: This protocol allows the 3500/92 to communicate with other PROFIBUS devices over a PROFIBUS network.
