The Allen-Bradley 1785-CHBM is a ControlNet 1.5 Hot Backup Memory Cartridge, Series A. It is used to provide hot backup of the user program and data in Allen-Bradley PLC-5 processors. The 1785-CHBM can be used with any PLC-5 processor that supports ControlNet 1.5.

Usage Method

To use the 1785-CHBM, it must be installed in the PLC-5 processor. The 1785-CHBM can be installed in any of the processor slots. Once the 1785-CHBM is installed, it must be configured to work with the PLC-5 processor. This can be done using the PLC-5 programming software.

Once the 1785-CHBM is configured, it will automatically provide hot backup of the user program and data in the PLC-5 processor. If the PLC-5 processor fails, the 1785-CHBM will take over and continue to operate the system.
