The ABB PU515 Real-Time Accelerator (RTA) board is a PCI bus-based board that provides high-performance real-time processing capabilities for ABB Advant OCS distributed control systems (DCS). It is powered by a dual-channel MB300 microprocessor and has 16 MB of memory.
The PU515 RTA board can be used to accelerate a wide range of control tasks, such as:
- PID control
- Fuzzy logic control
- Neural network control
- Genetic algorithm control
- Expert system control
It can also be used for data acquisition and processing, as well as for human-machine interface (HMI) applications.
